Pastor Wesley Hawk is a second-career pastor with a deep passion for spreading the love of Jesus Christ. Before answering the call to the ministry 23 years ago, he was actively involved in the churches he attended, serving in the youth ministry and various other roles. He is supported in the ministry by his wife of 53 years, Lois. Their two daughters, Tina and Michele, their spouses, Bill and Dan, and their four grandchildren. Together, his family has shared the love of Christ through three different churches. 

Prior to his pastoral work, Pastor Wes built a successful career in Information Technology. He began as a Computer Operator on IBM mainframe computers and advanced through roles including programmer, programmer/analyst, systems analyst, programmer supervisor, and IT manager. 

Feeling the call to ministry, Pastor Wes transitioned to a new career path and returned to school, this time attending Palmer Theological Seminary and Wesley Theological Seminary. He served as the appointed pastor for the Atco United Methodist Church and the Trinity Tansboro United Methodist Church in New Jersey for 18 years. 

In moving to Florida Pastor Wes began attending the Estero Methodist Church where he led various small groups and Bible Studies. He helped with Congreagtional Care as a volunteer Pastor. 

In 2024, after being ordained into the Global Methodist Church of the Florida Annual Conference, Pastor Wes was appointed to the Alva Methodist Church in Alva Fl.
